The Engineer's System maintenance screenThe System Maintenance window allows the engineer to change the NWin system parameters.

Engineer - Password protects access to the engineer facilities.  The password can be up to 8 characters.

Supervisor - Password protects access to the supervisor facilities.  The password can be up to 8 characters.

Should either or both of the passwords be lost the Engineer can force entry by deleting the file 'NWin_Sys.txt'.  This will reset the system variables to the start up defaults.  The default is no passwords.

Audio Prompts - When set gives the operator various audio prompts.

Dig I/O Port - Sets the serial port used for digital I/O.  Available but not active yet.

Test Dig - Checks the wiring to the designated serial port.  During the test 'T' or 'RETURN' will appear briefly when appropriate short circuits are applied to the relevant serial port.   Only appears if a non-zero Dig I/O Port has been set.   Not available yet.

Re-cal All Seqs - When clicked resets all measured response tests so the operator has to re-calibrate when  selecting the sequences that use them.  You might use this facility if the mike has been moved or something similar has changed.

Station - Identifies the source in production and curve data files.  It is worth entering a name even if you have only one NWin test station because you will be able to identify the source of historical data when you add further stations.  Maximum length is 12 characters.

Amplifier - The maximum output voltage of your amp when driven by your soundboard.  You can enter it in the text box or click Calibrate which guides you through calibrating an external power amp.  The text box next to Calibrate records the date and time of any Amplifier change.

Soundboard - The maximum output voltage of your soundboard.  You can enter it in the text box or click Calibrate which guides you through calibrating the soundboard.  The text box next to Calibrate records the date and time of any Soundboard change.

Reversed Polarity - When set compensates for a polarity reversal somewhere in the signal chain.

Operator Time Out (mins) - Can be set in the range 0-30 minutes.  Not available yet.

Op Fail Check - When set and a unit fails, the operator is asked to confirm failure by the prompt "Retest this unit".  Available but not active yet.
